SUPPORTING THE NURSERY SCHOOL

Together with our community, the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan creates opportunities for people of all ages to connect, grow, and learn in an ever-changing Jewish landscape. With that in mind, we invite you to get to know the JCC beyond the Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School.

No matter what time of day or night you walk through the doors of the JCC, you are met with an energy that permeates through the building. The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan enriches the lives of thousands of people of varying backgrounds and ages each and every day by providing a community and opportunities to make meaningful connections. We are proud of the array of cultural, educational, social, and wellness programs that we offer.

Tuition, membership dues, and program fees only cover 72 percent of the JCC’s operating costs—the rest comes from committed community members and families like yours. We rely on the generosity of parents, community partners, members, and friends to provide the support to fuel our growth.

We encourage you to partner, give, and build with us in any of a number of the following ways:

  • Annual Fund: Giving to the JCC’s Annual Fund helps us meet yearly operating expenses not fully covered by tuition, membership dues, and program fees. Supporting the Annual Fund is a priority for our community.

  • Tribute and Memorial Gifts: Making a gift in recognition of a special life event or in memory of friends and loved ones is a special way to support the JCC.

  • Matching Gifts: Taking advantage of your employee’s matching gift program maximizes the impact of your gift.

  • Fundraising Events: White Hot Saturday Night, the Annual Benefit, and more provide the community with a joyful way to work together to benefit the JCC.

  • Auctions: Contributing and soliciting items for auctions are great ways to support our events. Past auction items have included tickets to sporting events, stays at vacation homes, unique dining experiences, and gift certificates.

  • Atid: A giving circle that provides an opportunity to learn about philanthropy and connect to the JCC in a deep and meaningful way, making an impact on critical programs.
