Isabelle Knapp
Isabelle started working at the nursery school in 2020 and is thrilled to be a head teacher in Classroom 3 this year! Isabelle is currently pursuing her master’s in Early Childhood General and Special Education from Hunter College and graduated cum laude from Barnard College, where she earned her degree in Psychology and French. At Barnard, Isabelle worked as a student teacher in the Barnard College Center for Toddler Development, where she discovered her passion for working with young children. Isabelle has worked in many other programs at the JCC, including Camp Settoga, Turning 2s, and Day Camp. Isabelle strongly believes that each child should have the individual and tailored support that they need to learn and grow. She is excited to continue bringing her passion for education and work with children to the nursery school community.
