Payton is so excited to be starting her very first year at the JCC Nursery School in Classroom 3! Payton recently graduated cum laude from the University of Oregon with a BA in Planning, Public Policy, and Management and a minor in Spanish. While at UO, she began as an Education Intern at the Jordans Schnitzer Museum of Art where she hosted workshops, did post-tour activities with classes, and designed sensory kits for students on the autism spectrum to enjoy the museum in a safe and comfortable way. Furthering her experience in education, she tutored Spanish and English reading, writing, and math at a local after-school program. She is very passionate about accessible education and ensuring that every student is comfortable learning and being curious.
