JENNIFER LERMAN
Jennifer was born and raised on the Upper East Side. She is a head teacher in Classroom 1. Prior to joining the nursery school in 2016, Jennifer had teaching experience as an undergraduate, working with preschoolers, kindergarteners, and second graders, as well as students with special needs. While pursuing her passion for teaching, she also worked with Head Start programs throughout the city, supporting the social growth and development of children in these settings. Jennifer graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Early Childhood General and Special Education. She was also part of the Maimonides Leaders Fellowship at NYU, which focused on the relevance of Jewish wisdom and philosophy to contemporary issues. In 2020, Jennifer graduated from Bank Street College of Education with a dual Master's Degree in Early Childhood General and Special Education.
