Shani joined the JCC nursery school community in September 2019 as an associate teacher in Classroom 1. Born and raised in Israel, she graduated from Shenkar–College of Engineering and Design, in Ramat- Gan, with a degree in industrial engineering and management. After earning her degree, she moved to New York City and worked at the Consulate General of Israel. Shani lives on the Upper West Side with her 16 year-old daughter and 13 year-old son. She earned her master’s degree in social work at Fordham University in Summer 2018 and has experience in early intervention programs.

Shani has a deep love for and involvement in the Jewish community and is excited to be a part of The Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan.
